do you know where I can get the actual audio for this? It is my FAVORITE lenten hymn and I can't find it anywhere where I can listen to it, so I am left with humming and singing it in my head. Thanks!!!
Dear Mrs Jill O,
I have had no luck tracking down song on internet. This song we used in my parish for a readers' theatre dramatization of "The Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ according to John". I have been blessed to be in this play and love the song as it is sung at the beginning and end of the play.
This song is amazing, and I am not one that listens to "christian" music outside of church but I to have been trying to find it.
The reason you can't find it is because the publisher (WLP) keeps an insanely tight noose on their products. It's a shame because it makes it extremely difficult to share these songs in a way that would actually benefit the publisher (by encouraging you to buy it for your church!). I'm shocked, actually, that you were able to post the lyrics without their copyright police coming after you.
