My Father + Requiescat in pace

Saturday Night Devotions - Right After Bath Time

I would appreciate your prayers for the repose of my father, Cecil. He lived to see the birth of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

I am so sorry to learn of your father's death. He raised a remarkable son; he must have been a wonderful and loving man.

I'll pray for your father.
You, the Mass'keteers are a daily part of my «vitual» community, as well as Gil. If I sign as 'Marta', it's a fake name I use in another blog (I was born on St. Martha's feast day). My real name is Carmo and Gil knows it. I wish your father could have profited of your 'Short guide...»

Thank you for your prayers and kind comments. The old patriarch was caring and fully operational till the moment he drifted off peacefully in his recliner. He sent his newest great-granddaughter, Aaliyah, her "first email" (true!) the day before he died.

Best and a happy New Year.
