And speaking of contrast and compare, do so with the pericope of the woman taking in adultery and brought by mob to Jesus to this.
Chivalry would demand stepping - via the Gospel mandate, and so clearly absent in the pharisaical world of Islam - into the sacred precinct of the victim; STANDING UP for and with the victim.
And, if one sees a bully approaching, one should not neglect charity and neglect the ones the bully is taking aim at...
